"A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday morning in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.
The 26-year-old told investigators he was shot in the foot about 5:40 a.m. in the 7800 block of South Rhodes, according to Chicago Police."

01/15/2016 -- Two aspiring rappers charged with sex trafficking
"Two aspiring rappers had a more lucrative business on the side, according to federal prosecutors — they used guns and violence to force girls into prostitution.
Samuel Nichols, aka Buck; and Charles Fears, aka Kash, were charged Friday with one count each of engaging in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office."

01/14/2016 -- Man sentenced to more than 16 years for illegally selling guns
"A Chicago man was sentenced to more than 16 years in a federal prison Wednesday for selling 11 guns to an undercover informant he thought was a high-ranking member of a Chicago street gang.
Terrence Griggs, 36, was sentenced to 200 months in prison for selling two shotguns, four pistols, three revolvers, two rifles and one bulletproof vest to an informant for the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in 2011, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice."

"Two men have been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a teenager in the Brighton Park neighborhood late Thursday, according to a news release.
